Crockpot Turkey Lettuce Wraps

1 package lean ground turkey

1 large onion, chopped

4 celery stalks, chopped

8 large shitake mushrooms, chopped

1/2 cup Hoisin sauce

6 Tablespoons lite soy sauce, or liquid aminos

8 cloves garlic, chopped

1 Tablespoon sesame seed oil

2 6oz cans sliced water chestnuts, drained and chopped

Butter leaves

Sauce:

4 Tablespoons hoisin sauce

1/2 teaspoon chili sauce

1-2 Tablespoon warm water

1. Combine all ingredients in a crockpot and cook on low for 6-8 hours. Stir and break up meat into pieces. I used a masher that worked well.

2. Serve with butter leaves and additional sauce if preferred.

Enjoy!
